金管局发言人星期二（11日）回复《联合早报》询问时指出，Chocolate Finance已对赎回资金的时间表作出澄清，当局指示该公司确保以有序方式履行所有赎回要求，并及时通知客户有关最新发展。另外，当局也询问了公司关于这项即时提款计划的陈述。

针对此事，Chocolate Finance发文告解释，此次暂停即时提款服务，是为了应付突然激增的提款要求，而非遇上资金流动性问题。同时，公司的提款卡交易也同步暂停，“我们正积极采取措施来管理交易，并加速恢复正常服务”。
