C/2023 A3（Tsuchinshan-ATLAS）彗星进入观测最佳时期。10月13日黄昏，在四川省阿坝州红原县，紫金山-阿特拉斯彗星出现在西边天空。它拖着长长的彗尾，在天空中缓缓下落，让人感受到宇宙的神奇和美妙。

2024年最值得期待的彗星C/2023 A3（Tsuchinshan-ATLAS）12日最接近地球。当日，它将在傍晚的天空现身，不考虑相位角散射因素，预计亮度为2.8等，如果爆发，亮度有可能还会增加。感兴趣的公众可以在日落后的西边天空凭肉眼寻找到它。

蒋晨明说，在过近地点后，紫金山-阿特拉斯彗星的角度不断升高，但是亮度迅速下降。随着时间的推移，它的亮度会越来越暗，10月下旬之后会逐渐从人类的“裸眼视野”中消失。
