I am planning a ski trip for my daughter and I this winter. She just moved to Seattle and I want to see where she is living and then take a few days to ski. I will be flying out from NC. We would like to stay at or near the resort. We have skied in the Rockies and Vermont but never in Washington state. Any suggestions are appreciated thanks!

I have a Honda Civic FWD. Do you recommend tire chains to get to Stevens Pass in the winter?

Chains aren’t always needed during the winter, but depends on the whether during a particular stretch of days. We just went over and no chains necessary on our sedan.

I went there 2 days ago and it was nice, sunny weather. Easy to get parking. Good facilities for renting ski equipments. Skiboards. Beginners lessons, advance slopes all looked perfect. You have good coffee shop and a big restaurant overlooking the slopes. Excellent place to visit.
