Our gravel driveway is steep, curvy, and 1/4 mile long. Although we try to provide plowing in a timely manner, we can NOT guarantee it. This secluded mountain chalet sits on 11.5 acres of pasture and rolling hills. Our home is approximately 2000 square feet with long range views from the living areas and all three bedrooms. The location of our property is magical. You are immersed in the mountains with nature all around, and yet still close to many great restaurants and outdoor activities (hiking trails and winter sports). The ski resorts (Sugar and Beech Mountain) are each approximately 20 minutes away. We are located off Highway 194 in between Valle Crucis and downtown Banner Elk. Boone is about 20 minutes away. Blowing Rock is approximately 30 minutes away.
